 Julio-Cesar Betancourt qualified as a lawyer in 2001. He holds a bachelor’s degree in law, a master’s degree in international business law, and a PhD in private law. He is the author of “El Contrato de Arbitraje Internacional” (Tirant lo Blanch ed. 2018), and is  the editor of a number of other books. He is currently the Director of the London Arbitration Programme. He was formerly a Junior Academic Visitor at the University of Oxford’s Commercial Law Centre.
